I built my audience through hard work-- netting 130,000 followers on Twitter and 400,000 subscribers on YouTube, where I have 20,000,000 views on long-form videos. I like to talk about history, sex, sociology, and pop culture, focusing heavily on black women, whose stories are not told enough in history retrospectives and documentaries. I research extensively using a thick combination of sources and oral history. ​In addition to researching, writing, editing, and curating my content, I produce pin-up photography.
